Let’s take a deep dive and explore diverse career pathways and professional networks that we can leverage when we emerge from this pandemic. To help you do this, the Canadian Mentoring Partnership is teaming up with the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity to host a Power of Mentoring virtual event with youth ages 18+ on Monday, May 4 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm EDT.
The experience will include an interactive opening session featuring tips and tools to build and manage relationships followed by the opportunity to connect in small groups for career mentoring discussions with employee volunteers representing diverse career pathways and experiences. The overall event is designed to develop skills, expand professional networks and explore career insights. The Canadian Mentoring Partnership will provide all participating employee-volunteers and youth with a conversation guide to support small group career mentoring discussions along with a pre-project guide with tips to consider in advance.
